本杰明格雷厄姆八十岁生日爬梯上对儿孙们做了个演讲，演讲最后以这一段诗作结尾。这首诗是写老年的，不过我看了后觉得很受激励，就抄录下来以作自勉：

2 T6 G3 j$ b8 x2 {- V3 v! d'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
7 T( F3 b5 i" O2 N
) H) M4 Q( l2 K' NPush off, and sitting well in order smite

! n3 e( m  l" V2 U; {  MThe sounding furrows; for my purpose holds

To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths

It may be that the gulfs will wash us down;
