Y0 p- t( O- @, ^The LA KLEMS project, covering Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico, was launched at a conference at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago, Chile, on December 10-11, 2009, and a second conference was held in Santiago on June 3-4. This project is organized by ECLAC/CEPAL and involves research teams from each of the four participating countries. Projects to cover Indonesia, Turkey, and Taiwan are underway at Groningen University. 4 Q: ?( E/ V7 k, @/ P3 [ " B! I2 `5 k% M1 gThe First WORLD KLEMS Conference will be organized by the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard. The meetings will be held at Harvard’s new Center for Government and International Studies. / d2 ^* s% Z" X" e: Y1 E& vAccommodations for conference participants will be available at hotels near the Harvard campus.
